Just when I thought I knew all there was to know about Tampa – Sundays at the Riverwalk happened.
[Cue Sunday Candy in the background]
Hello, “Free stuff to do in Tampa.” Date night. Longboarding. Reading. Soccer. Rollerblading. Yoga by the water.
Thank you, Tampa Riverwalk!
2.4 miles of entertainment, the Tampa Riverwalk was a total boss move. Scenic isn’t even the word. It felt like I was in an episode of The O.C. Bikers, joggers, skateboarders, miles of long lean palm trees, the sun setting over what looked like metallic waters…
I can’t make this up.
We grabbed a bite to eat at Sam and Eddie’s Pizza, a pizzeria in downtown Tampa known for using New York waters to make their pizza.
School, insecurities, boys, and girl talk-it’s like we were in the perfect place to leave our burdens.
With Curtis Hixon Park on the left and University of Tampa on the right – this is a the perfect mixture of rustic-tropical feels.
Have you ever heard of water-bicycling before? Yea, me neither. This place seriously has everything. Water taxi, water bicycling, paddle boarding and more – Tampa Bay’s Riverwalk is undeniably one of Tampa’s gems.Oh, and a little birdie told me that Riverfest 2017 is on it’s way, May 5-6. Music, food, and fun – it’s not going to be something you want to miss! Hopefully the Mayor’s Mac and Cheese Throwdown is in the works!
Either way – I will be there.
It’s cool to know I have the privilege of reminding the girls of their value. I remind them how beautiful they are and how God handpicked each one carefully for a specific purpose.
Good food. Good convo. Perfect landscape.
